Waste tires are solid wastes with large annual output and the potential for great harm to environment. The pyrolysis of waste can recycle energy produce reusable products. Although there many reviews in literature regard characteristics tires, no one paper focuses on reviewing summarizing tire char. This critically appraises achievements earlier reports assesses current state-of-the-art production application char from tires. Initially, thermal decomposition behavior different rubbers is discussed compared where it shown that components rubber have degradation characteristics. influencing factors yield quality assessed terms reactors technologies, type composition, a range process conditions. composition conditions main affecting distribution Pyrolysis technology reactor equipment also an effect physical chemical structural reviewed detail, including comparison fundamental differences commercial carbon black modified (physical activation activation).
